Harvest time has already begun in Kosovo. And many farmers are getting their wheat ready to be delivered to M & Sillosi's giant mill. As one of the largest companies in the region for the production of flour, M & Sillosi collects the crops of about 15 children from farmers all over Kosovo, thus providing farmers with the sale of wheat and providing them with family income.
The processing capacities of the grain storage in M & Sillosi are about 60 thousand tons, which are stored according to high criteria and in certain time limits. The production capacities are two lines with 300 tons each, which means that 600 tons of flour can be produced within 24 hours. A factory with such capacities is not even found in the region!
At the M & Sillosi factory, samples of wheat and flour are taken every hour, which are tested in their sophisticated laboratories, thus maintaining the quality standard.
Within this factory is produced one of the best-selling products in the country, such as Finnesa flour. But this is not the only one, because M & Sillos produces about 20 types of flour. Only for the brand ‘Finnesa’ are produced some types of flour such as Tip 400, Tip 500, Tip 1000, wholemeal flour and semolina for various cakes. Otherwise, other brands of flour produced in this factory are 'Dellino', 'Sofra' and also collaborations with international companies.
All these types of flour have something in common, and that is that they are produced by a factory which has been implementing food safety standards for more than 5 years. The standards applied by M & Sillosi are part of the global food safety initiative, such as IFS, FSSC2200 and the BRC standard.
Otherwise, M & Sillosi cooperates with international companies such as KFC and Dominos, to supply them with flour products. Meanwhile, exports of M & Sillos products are already regular to the United States of America, the European Union and the region.
